Metadata raises $2 million in seed funding

Metadata is an ad-targeting and data enriching startup which automates demand generation for B2B companies. In order to develop its operations, it has seeked funds worth $2 million.
Founded in the year of 2015 by Gil Allouche, Yan Manevich and Asaf Shilat, Metadata has raised $2million in the seed funding from 500 Startups, Right Side Capital Partners and other angel investors. Previously Metadata had raised around $2 million funds in 2 rounds of funding, the latest round held recently in April this year.
The company’s technology amplifies content marketing campaigns to target audience through omni-channel marketing. Metadata uses third party data to assist its clients in targeting their ads at carefully curated people who have similar needs.
As reported by Co-founder and CEO Gil Allouche said, “The Company’s technology offers an effective way for businesses that sell to other businesses to find and target new potential customers through advertising. Metadata isn’t looking at everyone in the sales database, but rather qualified leads who have actually expressed interest in your product.”
Metadata’s client list has big names in it like Cisco, UBM and Comcast. According to the company, Facebook has been the most effective platform for targeting advertisement to its users.
