Meet Blink: India’s very own Smart Wearable from Witworks

Witworks, an Indian consumer IoT firm, has just launched its first smart wearable called Blink, which is powered by Marvin OS, their own voice-based OS. Blink is now available for pre-order and starts at a price tag of INR 12,999/-. It comes with a 1.4 inch screen. CEO and Co-founder, SomnathMeher has called it a unique wearable that will re-imagine how wearables have interacted (UX/Input) with other apps till now.
The Idea Behind Blink
Co-founders SomnathMeher and Ankit DP had a vision of addressing the lack of relevant use-cases, easy interation and design empathy in the already existing smart wearables. It was the need to solve all these issues that led them to develop Blink. It represents a seamless blend of design and technology.
Features
Marvin OS is Android-based engine and can support various in-built and third party apps for a better user experience. It comes with 1 GB RAM and 8GB internal memory allowing the users to carry over 1000 songs. It has built-speakers as well as Bluetooth connectivity to pair with other speakers. It offers feature to book cabs with just a command. Supports Whatsapp and Hangouts. One can even use it as a fitness tracker. With App Space, one can download various apps in with just a single command.
One unique feature is that it generates a 60-sec OTP to connect to various services without the need of internet or network connectivity. Blink smart wearable comes with a 1.2 GHz processor and a 300 mAh battery.
