Media Konnect will be the first global online portal, providing end-to-end solutions for all filmmakers across the world irrespective of their country or the language. Ranjit Thakur, Founder and CEO of Krian Group launches a lucrative platform, which aims to provide end-to-end solutions for people who wish to create any type of content that can bring together talent exchange, collaboration and increased revenue opportunities for the entire industry.

The startup features a portal for writers, directors, cinematographers and art directors to meet up and work together. It intends to cut off the middlemen between the Entertainment Company and talent. The startup will create a calendar of events, listing workshops and other events to help members increase their skills .Media Konnect’s patented design has a built-in verification system, which certifies the credibility of each individual profile, so that people who will log onto the site will be only be exposed to the true content. This attribute of the portal makes it different from its competitor, TalentNext. Krian Media has invested Rs. 9 crores in developing Media Konnect.

Current Status of Media Konnect:

Headquartered in the Netherlands, the startup has plans to expand in many key global regions such as China, Mexico, France, Japan, USA, and the UK over the next quarter. It is already available as a web platform, in Android and iOS apps. Media Konnect has successfully launched with a base of over 10,500 registered users on its website, and looks forward to continuing its global expansion. The startup has six people working currently is planning to gain revenues from ancillary services. Konnect’s platform has over 600 verticals related to the entertainment sector on its website as well as on apps. The portal is in English, soon to be launched in regional and foreign languages too. Signing up is free and the advertisements will generate revenue for the start-up.
