Millions of photos are clicked and share on social media platforms. WhatsApp the most popular chat messenger for Smartphone’s has over a billion users, communicating every day. Images shared on it get stored in the storage. And with time it lots of junk images mount up, eating the storage. To delete them either you have to go manually, checking the album and folders, or you can use a desktop pc. Both are time consuming method. Best way to get rid of junk photos is to take help from technology that can scan and automatically mark them as junk.

Noida based Startup Siftr, has a solution for this. It has released an app called as Magic Cleaners that is powered by AI to find and scan junk photos. It eases your process of locating images that you don’t require. It is capable of identifying a variety of images like meme’s, screenshots, cartoons, etc. saving valuable time in finding each of them yourself. Junk images are auto-selected and just by one tap you can get rid of them.

Siftr is founded by former Adobe employees, Romil Mittal and Mayank Bhagya. Their aim is to help users to locate pictures they don’t require without spending much time and energy. This is only possible if a dedicated app can locate junk photos automatically. Like Siftr Magic Cleaner app, that analyzes the image first, it then categorizes it. Existing competitors for Magic Cleaner are Clean Master and CCleaner. Both the apps cover entire Smartphone, and Siftr Magic Cleaner only works for the photo part. This makes it a helpful solution for end users to locate and instantly delete junk pictures.
