Not all know, Kstart is a startup accelerator run by renowned venture capital firm Kalaari Capital. Recently, Kalaari Capital has invested $500,000 in Parablu Inc., a cloud security startup. With these new funds, Parablu will expand its team, enhance its marketing and distribution activities and extend its product portfolio for international markets.
What is Parablu?
Founded by Anand Prahlad (Ex MD and Head of McAfee’s India Center) and Ananda Rao Ladi (Senior VP at Mindtree) in 2014, Parablu offers intelligent cloud access security broker (CASB) enabled cloud security solutions for enterprises, enabling them to store business assets on the cloud.
Parablu’s cloud security service concentrates on privacy, security and confidentiality of data. The company has developed pre-integrated technology with a range of cloud data management applications, especially designed to protect the data that flows out of the company’s networks into the public cloud, thereby enabling easy adoption for enterprises.
A Brief on Kalaari Capital
Founded in 2006 by Vani Kola, Kalaari Capital launched Kstart by investing $20 million. Last month, Kstart announced an investment of $500,000 each in three start-ups in healthcare, financial services and online video content management space—Affordplan, Active.ai and Indee respectively.
