Jugnoo’s Launch Of Lunch Delivery Service ‘Meals’- An Aid To Its Hyper-Local Grocery Platform Fatafat

Jugnoo is spiraling its way through the industry!
Introducing “Meals”
Founded in 2014 by a handful of IITians, Jugnoo is an on-demand urban transport service that connects passengers wishing to travel from one point to another within a particular city. Jugnoo offers reliable, yet affordable auto rides. The company started as a small organization; but has evolved into one of the handiest apps on a smartphone, reflecting a phenomenal success.
Recently, Chandigarh-based SoCoMo Technologies Pvt. Ltd. that runs Jugnoo, launches an on-demand lunch delivery service called “Meals”. The app aims at supplementing its recently launched hyper-local grocery delivery service Fatafat. The plan is to soon launch services for evening snacks and dinner as well.
How does it work?
Users will be able to choose from a menu that includes sandwiches, meal combos, and desserts, among others. There is no minimum order price and the menu will keep changing on a daily basis.
According to a press release, Nitish Singh, the CFO at Jugnoo said that the service was launched based on frequent interactions and feedback from customers. Two months after Jugnoo announced its entry into the hyperlocal grocery delivery through Fatafat, Meals came into the picture.
This is the next big step for the company after the recent integration of Pokemon Go into the app. Will the launch of Meals help Jugnoo successfully infiltrate the hyper-local delivery industry? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.
