Introducing The Karmic Kyoto, Pedelec Bicycle For Women

For all those lovely women on the move !
The Karmic Kyoto, a pedal-electric bicycle (pedelec), uniquely designed for women, is launched by US-based e-bicycle startup Karmic Bikes.
What’s special about the Karmic Kyoto?
One of the most important features of Kyoto is to ponder upon is its battery that gives the greatest range of any pedelec built for women. Kyoto can get a ride to work and back home again, easily, on one charge even over a fairly long commute.
This bicycle also features 11-speed components, hydraulic disc brakes, and is powered by 500 Wh battery. The battery gives the riders 80 km range in ‘normal’ mode, with a special option of ‘eco’ mode that provides a longer range.
According to CEO and founder of Karmic, Hong Quan, “E-bikes equalize the activity of riding bikes, so if you’re a semi-pro cycling nut and your mom has not ridden a bike for 20 years, this is a great equalizer, and you can finally go riding together.”
Pricing
Karmic is initially offering the Kyoto at $1799 for early backers through a Kickstarter campaign. Later the bikes will be sold at $2,799 direct to consumers online via their own site.
With the pre-sale price of $1799, the Karmic Kyoto is made the most affordable among various women’s e-bikes on the market.
