Then, we created Big Bazaar Direct&#8230;We lost there as well,\u201d said Biyani.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>The Cause of Shut Down<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Future Group Founder and CEO Kishore Biyani confirmed the news of \u2018Big Bazaar Direct\u2019 shutting down in the next week since it is experiencing great losses. Future Group-owned, Big Bazaar Direct is a B2C online platform to buy <a href=\"https:\/\/startup-buzz.com\/union-big-bazaar-paytm-huge-step-history-e-commerce-industry\/\">Big Bazaar<\/a> products launched in 2013. Biyani has tried his hand several times (at least 4 times) in the e-commerce industry. However, something is not working out for him and he fails again with Big Bazaar Direct.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the Group wishes to move its focus back to its core business of physical retail.<\/p>\n<p>The development was first reported by Business Standard.<\/p>\n<p>Is the Indian e-commerce market yet in the budding stage?
