After Europe, it was the turn of consumers in New York to be bedazzled by Samsung<\/a>‘s Serif TV, which was launched at the Museum of Modern Art, recently.<\/p>\n

Beautiful Design<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Taking its name after the Serif font, the Serif TV which cuts a sleek ‘I’ silhouette has been designed by the French designers Bouroullec brothers. The design has been made functional to look like furniture that forms part of a room and can be used as a shelf for books, vases, or any decorative trinkets.<\/p>\n

A unique aspect is its ability to blur anything shown on the screen to form abstract shimmering shapes known as the ‘Curtain mode’.<\/p>\n

Smart Electronics<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A smart TV running on Tizen OS it comes with 3 HDMI and 2 USB ports. The Serif TV is also sharp in picture quality with its 4K Ultra HD resolution. Not only that, the back has been neatly covered by a detachable woven fabric to hide the TVs ports, leaving the connectors and wires concealed.<\/p>\n

Available in 40 inches in blue and white colors, the white version is available for presale for $1,499 from Samsung.com, while the blue can be bought exclusively through the Museum of Modern Art.<\/p>\n
