With the new funds, Ancera\u2019s total capital raised till now comes to $12.3 million. To your note, PSSI and Metabiota are reputed companies in the food safety market. Ancera has developed a well-advanced hardware product, Piper that looks like a small printer, which uses disposable cartridges about the size of a smartphone. It will be out in the market by next month. This is world\u2019s first instrument to measure food contaminants.\u00a0 The technology helps to minimize the food wastage and prevent the spread of food-borne diseases. Even if you are not trained in biology, you can easily check the contaminants in poultry and other foods at different checkpoints in their supply chain.
