It helps in controlling various aspects like indoor temperature and energy consumption for the entire building.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s the Need?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>America\u2019s one of the oldest real-estate dynasties, Rudin, owns Prescriptive Data and has invested around $5 million in it till now. Bill Rudin, CEO, Rudin Management, basically wanted to come up with such an integrated system that could collect data from a building\u2019s various systems and control each of those aspects from a single console. The major advantage that Nantum offers is making a building energy efficient by controlling indoor temperature and reacting quickly to power failures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How It Works?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nantum analyzes data like building occupancy, power consumption, outdoor and indoor temperature, elevator use frequency, etc and provides real-time solutions to attain maximized energy conservation, thus lowering down the maintenance costs. That translates into an average savings of 50 cents per square foot.
