Yatra\u2019s Story of Acquisition<\/strong><\/p>\n

Founded in the year 2012 by Solomon JP and Vishy Kuruganti, mGaadi<\/a> is a Bangaluru-based auto-rickshaw aggregator. Basically, it is an app-based (Android, iOS, Windows Phone) commuting service from India Drivers Network. Recently, Gurgaon-based Yatra.com acquires this social enterprise. The acquisition deal claims mGaadi\u2019s employee transportation platform, Cartr along with other technologies will be integrated into Yatra\u2019s products. However, the deal amount still remains undisclosed.<\/p>\n

You can request your mGaadi via smartphone apps or the web. Around 13K drivers are a part of network. In January 2016, Yatra acquired as well as hired Mumbai-based Travel-logs that specializes in organizing customized city walks and private tours.<\/p>\n

Blog Story<\/strong><\/p>\n

As per a recent post by co-founder Vishy on mGaadi\u2019s blog, \u201cIn mid-May, after a series of exciting conversations and meetings with Yatra CXOs, the terms of the acquisition were finalised.\u201d He further wrote \u201cOn Jun 10, we signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Yatra.\u201d<\/p>\n
