Hotelbids is an app that avails last-minute hotel bookings. The man behind this app is Mr. Inder Sharma, a serial entrepreneur and founder of Hotel.com. With a valuable experience in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, he continuously observedthat customers were not getting what they deserve. Every night Approximately 1.7 million rooms go empty globally even though various online travel agencies (OTAs) claim the best deals. There exist a sincere demand for aplatform which is helpful in getting the best deal for customers and let hoteliers fill the capacity optimally.
Funded by hospitality professionals from the USA, A subsidiary of US Company Hotelbids Inc. based in California, ,Hotelbids Hospitality Pvt Ltd unveiled its unique App in India, with presence over 2500+ hotels in 69 cities in just last 6 months.
A platform where customers don’t have to search, but their search comes to them
To use this platform, a customer can use the interface to search and request hotels in a particular city. This request in turn is broadcasted to all hotels in the Hotelbids network, which has option to respond immediately to accept the offer. Then customer can review the specifics of the hotel before making their decision to stay in it. Both hotels and customers leverage with this simple and transparent way. It is a two-click last minute room-booking app for millennials. The app is now available at Google Play and App Store.
Cofounded by serial entrepreneur Inder Sharma and Aneesh Chopra who is CTO are further looking to penetrate in Indian market with full zest.Mr. Sharma has founded over 13 companies including Hotel.com. Moreover, with the business diversification Hotelbids is now a cherished member of AAHOA (Asian American Hotel Owners Association), whose members collectively own approximately 23,000 hotels in US. In India, Hotelbids did a soft launch in July, 2016 and now the company has begun the hotel registration process in US, expected to launch in early next year.
