Delhi-based Startup, Hopcar is an online used car marketplace. Recently, it announced collaboration with Gurgaon-based Spinny. The duo will work under the brand name ‘Spinny’. The existing four co-founders of Hopcar – Arijit Biswas, Rahul Thakur, Anish Karan, and Rahul Anand will lead the core team. Spinny works on incorporating a scientifically developed Pricing Engine and an algorithm-based Rating Engine in their processes to strengthen the tech-side to their business. Hopcar.in also does a similar business in August last year. The company connects buyers directly to sellers, assuring quality at accurate prices in a hassle free and transparent manner.

Spinny is co-founded in April last year by the four great minds – Niraj, an IIT-D alumni and a Serial Entrepreneur, along with Ramanshu Mahaur (Adobe), Ganesh Pawar (ex-Flipkart) and Mohit Gupta (ex-Flipkart).

Its competitors include Cardekho, Cartrade, Droom, Carwale, Zigwheels, along with some indirect dealers such as Quikr and OLX.

By the end of this year, the company plans to print its marks on the roads of Bangalore and other such major cities.
