Health Startup Doctor Insta Bags Fresh Funding From RoundGlass

Convenient Health Checkups Now With an App
Gurgaon-based health tech startup, Doctor Insta, has received fresh round of funding from US-based VC firm RoundGlass Partners. Although founder Amit Munjal has not revealed the amount, reports suggest that it is well above $1 million.
About The Service
Doctor Insta uses an app-based audio-visual consultation model where patients can converse with their doctors, psychologists, sexologists, pediatricians and nutritionists. A fee of Rs 400/- is levied for 30-minute consultation. Both Android and iOS support the app. Using this app, a person can book an appointment with any of the specialty doctors. Now with this funding, Amit Munjal plans to market two new concepts- Health ATM and Insta Wall- by putting in Rs 20 crore over the course of next 18 months.
Health ATM
These refer to IoT-based health kiosks that will be placed in various malls and office complexes. Here any could be able to walk in and get themselves a basic health check up including sugar levels, heart rate and BP.
Insta Wall
Insta Wall will make it possible for the patients to have remote consultations with doctors via their mobile phones. Patients will also be able to book personal appointments with doctors for a nominal charge of Rs 100-150 in small villages. However, this rate will vary for the patients from cities. The rate will be Rs 400-500/-.
