Hans Hartman, Former Executive of Fitbit, joins Oculus as COO.

Laird M Malamed, the former COO of Oculus has been replaced by Hans Hartman, who has been executive of FitBit since 2011. Laird would take up the position of VP and GM of the company.
Brendan Iribe, the Co-Founder of Oculus VR Inc., welcomed Hans Hartman to the Oculus Family with a brief post on his Facebook Wall. He said, “ I’m excited to welcome Hans Hartman to Oculus as our new COO. Hans brings decades of industry experience, and joins us from Fitbit, where he has been the Chief Operations Officer for the past 5 years. Its an incredible time for virtual reality, and I’ m excited for what’s next.”
Hartman had been the COO at Fitbit since last five years, where he was accountable for supply chain operations, hardware product development and customer support. His expertise in manufacturing and supply chain operations is a pleasant news for Oculus as well as the customers, as the first batch of Oculus’s delivery got delayed unexpectedly. The company is still trying to cope up with the pre-orders. Former COO of Oculus, Laird M Malamed had also welcomed Hans on Facebook post.
