Google’s Hiring Plan
Google’s self-driving technology has been under development for over seven years. With the project nearing completion, the company welcomed Shaun Stewart to join efforts with Hyundai Motor America CEO John Krafcik, the self-driving car unit’s CEO.
Bringing different talents to the team, Krafcik and Stewart’s partnership is sure to bring a stir with Stewart’s commercializing experience on one end to Krafcik bringing his expertise of the consumer car market.
Prior to heading Airbnb, Shaun Stewart was CEO at TripAdvisor. Stewart’s entire career has essentially been spent in the hospitality industry, which makes him a smart pick for Google’s latest hype, commercialization of self-driving technology.
