Lucideus is a New Delhi-based cyber security startup. In recent times, this startup received funding from Flipkart CFO, Mr. Sanjay Baweja. However, the funding amount remains undisclosed.
About Lucideus
Co-founded in the year 2012 by Mr. Saket Modi, Lucideus provides consultancy, training and solutions to counteract cyber attacks. It helps various firms guard against generic information security threats along with combating advanced persistent threats and customized zero day exploits. With this it ensures that an organization stays ahead of the security curve.
Additionally, this startup serves big clients like Standard Chartered, Indigo, DBS Bank, HDFC Bank, Reserve Bank of India, IBM, and Microsoft among others.
The near-past of Lucideus
Previously, Mr.Anand Chandrasekaran (Snapdeal’s former CPO) invested in this startup. Lucideus was selected by the government of India along with other160 startups. It has also worked with various ministries of the Indian government including Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Ministry of Defence.
Upcoming products of Lucideus
As per reports, the Lucideus team is working on a new product. This product is currently in pilot mode and is expected to launch soon.Other details regarding the product are to be disclosed by next quarter.Probably, the funds received lately would be utilized in this project and the startup’s future plans.Additionally, Sanjay Baweja is also expected to help create the financial model for Lucideus’ new offering.

As the startup is progressing with their project plans, the company says that they are getting offers from various investors. Most of them include venture capital firms looking to be a part of Lucideus’ journey. But the startup values mentorship from investors more than their financial support.
