Facebook Messenger App Will Now Help You To Strike Conversation

Easy to converse with your FB friends !

“Conversation topics” – in Messenger app

Past this year Facebook’s Messenger had reached billion users but the team is still trying various strategies to increase its app usage. Recently it is trying to introduce “conversation topics” on the app. This new feature will suggest topics so that one can converse with friends at ease. It was first spotted by Chris Messina on iOS app this weekend and he later posted on Twitter about this Conversation starters. This new feature will rely on Facebook as the social network knows about our friends recent activities like what have been doing, attending events or movies and etc.

What will it do?

At moment the feature is just a small test conducted by Facebook and that’s the reason why many users aren’t seeing this feature in their Messenger app. The conversation topics suggestion appears below anyone of your friend’s name and then at right is Messenger’s activity indicator that shows when was the person was online. The new feature display questions about your friend such as recently visited place, music they listened, events they are interested and much more.

The motto behind this new feature is to break the ice with your recent Facebook friends or to catch up with old friend. The new conversation topics might help one to what to talk and strike up a conversation. Moreover one can also view friend’s recent activity without scrolling the News feed.

Whether this new feature will be added, one will have to wait and find out?

What’s the reason behind implementing various strategies in Messenger app, is it to compete with other social media apps? Do share your thoughts in the comment section below.
