Elipse is a procedure less intra-gastric balloon that can be swallowed in the form of the pill, later it expands in the stomach. It can stay for months and can be flushed from the body through the toilet. It does not require any special clinical supervision. After the product is finalized and approved by authorities it can help many to curb obesity just by swallowing a pill. It stays in the intestine and occupy space, reducing the amount of food intake, that later can contribute to weight loss, easiest way to eat less. Elipse is available in Europe, and Allurion Technologies planned to sell it in another region after getting official approval.

Allurion founded in 2009 by Shantanu Gaur and Samuel Levy. Overall, it has raised $10.47M in 4 rounds. The founders aim to bring a simple process for reducing weight. Elipse looks beneficial product, but after safe and approved clinical trials only.
