Founded in the year 2011 in Bengaluru, Cuemath is an Ed-tech startup that offers high-end after-school maths learning program for lower kindergarten to 8th grade students. The company is operated by Cuelearn Pvt. Ltd. Manan Khurma is the founder and CEO of Cuemath, a startup that emphasizes of ‘learning’ rather than ‘teaching’. Moreover, Cuemath aims to explore the beauty of math by offering an exclusive program via online activities such as puzzle and games.
Fund Raising
Recently, it raises $4 million in Series A round of funding from Sequoia India and existing investor Unitus Seed Fund. With the new funds, the startup plans to extend its services to other cities. It already has 1,000 Cuemath Centres operating in cities like Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and so on. The startup has plans to expand in international Ed-tech market, too.
In 2014, Cuemath had raised a seed funding of INR 1 crore from United Seed Fund.

At an early stage, Cuemath has become the fastest growing networks of math learning centres in India. Around 25,000 teachers have applied to be a part of the Cuemath network. However, the startup has signed over 1200 teachers from this lot. Since it is technology-driven, Cuemath proves to be a boon for women with its work-from-home option.
Cuemath’s goal is to educate millions of students at a time and employ thousands of talented women. Its education model is customizable, proven and affordable.
