Drone -Technology Startup Aptonomy Commences The Self-Flying Security Guard
What is the Purpose of Drone Technology?
California-based startup Aptonomy Inc. has created drone technology to make it impossible for mortals to break prison, do robberies or to create any kind of malicious intrusions. Aptonomy calls this technology as “flying security guard” as it is built by a system on the top of a drone including the DJI S-1000+, a camera-carrying octocopter usually used by movie-makers.
Add-ons of Drone Technology
Moreover, Aptonomy includes a second computer to control day and night vision cameras, a new flight controller, loudspeakers, and bright lights among other things. In addition to this, the startup has developed navigational systems and artificial intelligence that allow drones to fly fast and low, avoiding hindrances in the structure-dense surroundings, and detecting faces or human activity in the area.
How to Use it?
In case a user wants to send out a drone to any specific location, he can easily open up a browser to get onto the Aptonomy’s interface, click on a point on a map where he wants to send the drone and then evaluate that flight in the real time, or just review the recording later. Other than their self-flying capability the drones also have the ability to fly back to the charging station to power up if their batteries run low.
Co-founders of Aptonomy, Mihail Pivtoraiko, and Siddharth Sanan believe that the companies with lots of infrastructure-allied assets want to use their drone technology to supplement, or to replace, their human guards.
