Founded in June last year, DriveU is driving its way to success by acquiring Gurgaon based CallAtHome, an on-demand drivers for private cars owners.

DriveU is a Bangalore based firm which offers a collective service of on- demand drivers for private car owners. In February this year, it has raised $1 million in seed funding from Unitus Seed Fund, so as to expand its network to 100,000 drivers in 20 to 30 cities in coming two years.

In ambition to expand this network successfully, DriveU has acquired CallAtHome, an on-demand driver service provider, for an undisclosed amount. CallAtHome is founded by Alok Inamdar, Anubhav Sood and Satyendra Singh. Established with the motto of ‘To be every car owner’s personal driver’, CallAtHome has served over 7,000 trips till date, offering customers a reliable, affordable and superior experience.

Gurgaon is one of the fastest growing cities in India and thus, expanding their business in Gurgaon would be immensely profitably for DriveU. With acquisition of CallAtHome, DriveU would be able to add 150 partner-drivers in the Gurgaon area.

DriveU was founded last year by Rahm Shastry, Ashok Shastry and Amulmeet Singh Chadd. And yet, they have served over 30,000 trips to about 10,000 satisfied customers across cities of Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and New Delhi. Currently they have over 500 partner-drivers across India and introduction in Gurgaon will add positively to this figure.

DriveU is owned by Humble Mobile Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and is operated with ambition of giving a superior service to customers. They diligently follow practices of driver verification, proper training of drivers for teaching them required technological features. They make sure that the drivers are proficient in on-road commute experiences, may it be for shopping, business meetings, attending events or airport pickups and drops.
