Dictate The Price You Want To Pay For Your Hotel Stay With FindMyStay

FindMyStay favors democracy!

What is FindMyStay all about?

The hotel inventory gets wasted these days as hotel rooms go unsold in India almost on a daily basis. So, when space gets unsold, it could be a huge loss to the hotels operating in the industry. Hence, hoteliers, you no more have to worry. A startup has found a solution to this problem. This time, it is FindMyStay, a Delhi-based startup.

FindMyStay is a platform where customers can choose the price they want to pay for a room with their selection, that too; after the stay. This startup was founded by Rohit Khetrapal and Simran Sial in the year 2013. Hotel operators affiliated with this platform can now manage to sell rooms on a daily basis, which would otherwise go unsold. On the other hand, customers can now get the rooms cheap. The company says that in some cases, what customers pay is more than their estimation.

Current Statistics

It was reported that FindMyStay presently offers its platform in 35 cities and has 2500 hotels for its users to choose from. At present, this platform attracts both individual hotel operators as well as aggregators. The interesting fact here is that the startup has 37% of repeat customers and 85% of its total users prefer to book a three star and upper-grade hotels.

Moreover, FindMyStay claims to have 15,000 app downloads and a growing consumer base. This can be increased by getting more clients on board as it is only limited inventory per hotel for sale on FindMyStay.

FindMyStay has grown through word of mouth, email, paid marketing, content marketing as well as Digital marketing. Previously, the startup had raised its Pre-Series A funding – round from the Indian Angel Network and intends to spend it on improving its technology and customer interfaces.

Despite tough competition, the founders are confident that their business model will survive this competition. Will this startup be able to stand strong in this highly fragmented industry? Do let us know in the comment section below.
