How it Becomes Possible ?

Bengaluru-based startup Runnr, offering online food delivery service has raised $7 mn in a round of funding that was co-led by the Blume Venture Partners and Nexus Venture Partners. Ex- investor Sequoia Capital did not attend the funding round. Established by Arpit Dave and Mohit Kumar in 2015 as Roadrunnr, the Runnr came into being after the TinyOwl gets acquired by Roadrunnr in June this year.

Records from Past

Runnr is a hyper-local B2B on-demand delivery facility that helps track, book and manage the deliveries at scale. Earlier, the founders had also raised $15 million backed by investors like Yuri Milner, Sequoia Capital, Apoletto Asia, Emerging Markets Internet Fund and Nexus Venture Partners.

Both companies, TinyOwl and Runnr with the common investors; Nexus and Sequoia intended to appear as an incorporated hyper-local delivery facility, to attract more customers and to grow their business.
