Chototel UK based startup to bring Rs.100 per day hotel stay in India

Chototel started constructing 240room budget hotel in Nagothane (Mumbai) that can handle 1000 guest with uninterrupted services.

Uk Based Startup Chototel, is working on budget hotels in India. It has started its project in Nagothane to setup a hotel that would cost around Rs.100 approx per day. As per the rate charts it is $2 per day with proper infrastructure for an individual. It also aims to keep the ambience healthy by setting up a garden and a community kitchen for affordable food. 240 rooms will be the first project at initial stage for Chototel to starts its operation in India.

Chototel has planned to expand its operation and setup hotels in other cities like Gujarat, Chakan and Goa. According to the news release the startup aims to setup at least 100,000 rooms in the next 5 years and has started acquiring land. The startup targets professionals and industrial workers, who can afford to stay at a reasonable price. Low tariff does not means that the rooms will lack major facilities linked with clean water and electricity.

The startup aims to use an innovative business model to establish people’s hotel. Budget stay will help many to have a reasonable housing instead of staying homeless. Ideally for workers and professionals who want an affordable temporary stay, no longer need to rely on expensive hotel bookings.
