CEO Elon Musk Encourages Employees To Deliver “Every Car We Can” At Tesla

In an attempt at cutting costs and raising profits before Q3 ends, Elon Musk, Co-founder, CEO and product architect of Tesla Motors Inc. sent an internal memo to employees at the company urging them to cut costs and deliver “every car we possibly can”.
Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk explains in the memo that the company will be in a far better position to convince potential investors if upcoming headlines read, ‘Tesla Defies All Expectations and Achieves Profitability,’ rather than, ‘Tesla Loses Money Again.’

This push was made by Musk in order to help the company show positive cash flows in the third quarter. This quarter is crucial to the firm as trials at acquiring the SolarCity Corp are underway. Elon Musk is also the Chairman and Co-founder of SolarCity Corp.
Musk –the business magnate, investor, engineer and inventor– further backs his eagerness for cost-cutting and profits by saying that this would be his last chance to show improved financial numbers before he tries to raise more money.
