Treebo Hotels is a Bengaluru-based startup that has raised about $16.7 Mn in its Series B funding round led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII). It was also joined in funding by its existing investors- SAIF Partners and Matrix Partners India.

About Treebo

Sidharth Gupta, Rahul Chaudhary, and Kadam Jeet Jain founded Treebo Hotels in 2015. It is a chain of budget hotels providing guests with rooms in the price range of INR 1,000- INR 3,000. The hotels have all the quality amenities required to make your stay comfortable. It has brought under its umbrella more than 100 hotels till date which is spread all over the country. Treebo helps its partnering hotels in improving their service standards and maximizing occupancy. Plus, it is providing them its brand name.

A Different Approach

Treebo recently organized a crowd-sourced audit program, ‘Friends of Treebo’, where it invited the registered members for an unannounced stay at its hotels. They collected their feedback on various aspects of the stay to execute corrective measures.

Further Plans

With this fresh round of funding, the startup is aiming to expand its presence; further, it’s marketing strategies, and become the market leader in its field.
