Russian tech company, Mail.ru created the app for iOS as well as android. The app was launched under its American brand name, My.com that develops games and apps for the US in the past few years. The app uses neural networks to convert videos into artworks; using the style of Van Gogh and Picasso. It only supports 10-second videos. In order to create longer videos, users can select 10-second part that they wish to apply filter on
Limitations
The videos look gratifying; although Artisto is pretty impressive, it has few drawbacks. The app has a limited number of filters to choose from and sometimes, there is no assurance that will work. It is very time-consuming and takes much time to apply the different filter. Artisto crashes every then and now which is kind of troublesome. Overall the app is satisfying.
