Apple Rehires Evan Doll For His Health Related Software

More Talent, More Innovations!
Journey of Evan Doll from Apple to Flipboard and Back
Co-Founder of Flipboard has been hired by Apple Inc. to show his talent in developing health-related software for the company. According to news, Doll rejoined Apple as a Director of health software engineering, last month.
Reason behind the Huge Step
From the year 2003 to 2009, Doll worked with Apple as a software engineer and helped in developing the iPhone operating system. Then he quits Apple to start digital news magazine app called Flipboard with Mike McCue. The offerings of Flipboard and Apple’s News service are almost same, that means a competition for the startup. Doll and some other executives left Flipboard in September, as a part of the huge exodus.
As per a press statement, Apple is working on a new health-tracking-gadget, Apple Watch that will use a 3D touch and will help in tracking blood sugar and heart rate. Apple didn’t reveal the much about the capabilities of the device yet.
