Apple Patents For New All-glass iPhone 2017 With Curved Sidewall Display

Still, a Year to go!

Apple’s New Patent for the 2017 iPhone

Apple’s next iPhone 7 will be launching next month and as of now the company will continue using the aluminum body. Whereas, there are reports that the next model, which will be launched in the year 2017 will be lot different than the usual iPhone models. The new devices will have all- glass iPhone with curved edge OLED display.

Why such major changes?

This new iPhone will be launched next year that would also mark as Apple’s iPhone 10th year anniversary. The new set’s patent is published online by US Patents and Trademark Office (USPTO) to Apple that was approved in the year 2015 itself. Apple has been working on this for a while.  Patently Apple states a collection of 80 patents have been granted to the company is published which includes curved display sidewall’s iPhone too. Apple is renowned for working on secret projects and unveils them only when the technology has been mastered.

Sounds quite like Samsung Edge

Although this new feature is somewhat similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and S7 Edge where the users can see information in one look and the virtual buttons can be customized according to one’s need for scrolling, tapping controlling volume and so on.

Hence, this new iPhone will be lot different than the present models .This is just a patent update, we still have year to go for its official launch
