After recent news of Apple rebranding its retail outlets, the company is now working on a video recording/editing application that we can’t help but compare to the ever-popular, Snapchat. Seems like Apple’s working real hard with the launch of its new smartwatch, onto the next move people!

What’s the difference?

According to sources, Apple may now be working on a video recording/editing app similar to the image messaging application, Snapchat. The major differentiating factor between the socially accepted platform Snapchat and Apple’s upcoming app is that there is no mention of self-destructing content such as the formers’. Major features include one-hand enabled video recording, filtering option and adding drawings. The quick creating and editing of videos is Apple’s major focus with this new application.

The Apple Streak

In recent times, the Apple streak has slowed down to an extent where its new-found focus of innovation of services seems like a smart move. The area of concern though is why Apple would go ahead and repeat an existing boon in the market like Snapchat and not come up with something extraordinary like it always does?

Well, since there is no official statement by the company about its plans, we can’t help but wait following a series of nail-biting reports that suggest one thing or the other!
