What is Lisn all about?

A new and unique app, Lisn allows you to stream songs while chatting with your friends. It’s like sharing earphones; irrespective of how much far your friend is. Via SoundCloud and Spotify, the app lets you stream and share tracks. These songs are then synced in real-time when your friend tunes in to listen along with you. In this way, you can strengthen the bond and enhance a relationship with your friends.

Lisn discovers a more engaging, fun and interactive way to listen to music. You can easily recommend the song that you wish to hear with your friend. All you need to do is share a link to a song on this dedicated app. That being said, Lisn supports the ability to forward songs through other apps, too. Also, you can listen to the shared music even when your friend is not online. You can tap the push notification or head into the app to listen to the recommended track whenever you choose. In this case, the sender will receive an alert that you are streaming their shared track, and if they are available, they can pop into the app and join you.

When you find a song you like, you can save it to your Spotify or SoundCloud library for later streaming. In total, there are over 130 million tracks that can be shared then saved from Lisn.

Current Status of the App

Now, the app is live. Currently, the team is working on bringing Lisn to the Android platform as well as adding features like group chat, queuing, playlists in search and more. The app will also soon include support for more music services in time, with Apple Music at the top of the ‘to-do’ list. For now, the app is a free download, ad-free and doesn’t require any subscription to use.
