Amazon To Open Up “Seller- Cafes” In 24 Cities For Festival Season

One of world’s largest e-commerce platforms, Amazon, is going to open up “seller cafes” in order to help sellers during this Diwali season. To win the Indianretail market this festive season, Amazon has introduced this new plan for medium and small business sellers.“Seller cafes”- the new service offered by Amazon has been set up in 24 cities and towns across India.
What is a “Seller cafe”?
The cafes would help any new seller with any queries, support, and will be effective from 1st October. Any new seller can go to these cafes and create their Amazon seller accounts. Moreover, one will be also given basic guidance about managing their accounts bytrained officers.
Reason behind these cafes
The main motto behind this new seller café is to aid and train new sellers about the actual way the market works. The main backbone of any ecommerce platform is seller and no wonder that Amazon has triplicated its seller database before one of the biggest annual sales season in the country.
The company as of now has 200% more sellers, thrice the selection and 1.5x more fulfillment capacity; moreover they also have 120,000 small and mediums sellers all over the country selling on their platform. It also has multiplied its offline centre, Udaan, in 100 cities across 14 states.
