Moreover parents can keep eye on their kids with the help of Arrow’s android or iOS app.

What about it?

The company began to ship Arrow Smart-Kart, a $1,000 battery-powered go-kart on Wednesday. With the help of Arrow’s android or iOS app, the parents can regulate the Wi-Fi enabled go-kart’s speed which has maximum 12 mph. The app also features an emergency stop button, and utilizes geo-fencing technology which helps parents to keep kids from straying outside of a defined area.

One can also avail a separate race-car-style body kit that is a nose wing with a collision-avoidance sensor for $150. The idea behind this car was of Fadell, an early iPod designer, and Dave Bell, Actev’s CEO, when both of them wanted to create a product  which would more advanced than the ride able toy cars like Fisher-Price’s Power Wheels. The company is creating fun, safe and affordable children’s vehicles by leveraging technology found in today’s smartphones and most advanced cars. The Arrow Smart-Kart is now available here.
