California based-startup Actev, an electric Go-kart company, which produces smart vehicles for families, has now introduced the first smart, electric go-kart for kids, Arrow Smart-KartTM. The go-kart is created by professional race car drivers and will give full immense experience for aspiring young drivers. It is packed with most advance technology, performance and safety features. Moreover parents can keep eye on their kids with the help of Arrow’s android or iOS app.

What about it?

The company began to ship Arrow Smart-Kart, a $1,000 battery-powered go-kart on Wednesday. With the help of Arrow’s android or iOS app, the parents can regulate the Wi-Fi enabled go-kart’s speed which has maximum 12 mph. The app also features an emergency stop button, and utilizes geo-fencing technology which helps parents to keep kids from straying outside of a defined area.

One can also avail a separate race-car-style body kit that is a nose wing with a collision-avoidance sensor for $150. The idea behind this car was of Fadell, an early iPod designer, and Dave Bell, Actev’s CEO, when both of them wanted to create a product  which would more advanced than the ride able toy cars like Fisher-Price’s Power Wheels. The company is creating fun, safe and affordable children’s vehicles by leveraging technology found in today’s smartphones and most advanced cars.The Arrow Smart-Kart is now available here.
