Chandigarh Angels Network and TurningIdeas Venture Partners Collaborate to Support Young Startups

Startups Have Yet Another Reason To Rejoice!

Two industry players, Chandigarh Angels Network and TurningIdeas Venture Partners, have joined hands to start an incubation and accelerator program for the young startups seeking advice, resource and guidance forboosting their business. While Chandigarh Angels Network is dedicated to developing the startup ecosystem in north India, TurningIdeas Venture Partners aims at backing up technology-based startups in the region.

The Program

The mentorship program will aim at helping these startups scale up their operations. Ashish Mittal, chief mentor and co-founder of TurningIdeas said that the program will include startup meetings, demo events, meetings with potential investors, and hackathons. He also believes that partnering with Chandigarh Angels Network will be beneficial in boosting the startup ecosystem.

Investment

Chandigarh Angels plans to invest anywhere from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 2 crore in the selected startups functioning in the sectors of finance, education and healthcare. TurningIdeas Venture has announced a funding of Rs 33 crore to be invested in 10 selected startups with a ticket size between $50,000 to $200,000.
