Alibaba launches System to Discard Fake Products From its Site

Alibaba’s anti-fake drive!

Renowned Chinese e-commerce platform, Alibaba launches ‘IP Joint-Force System’, an online system to track and discard fake products from its website at an intellectual property conference in Hangzhou. Jack Ma, the Founder and CEO of Alibaba, who makes into the news often, stated last month that counterfeit goods have no place on its website. This, in turn, helps the brands to build good faith and stick on to the website. The IP Joint Force system is designed to streamline IP-related communications between brands and Alibaba.

Earlier this year, the U.S.-listed online shopping powerhouse has been dogged by accusations of its site being flooded with copy-cat products. Hence, Alibaba came up with a new drive to display its determination to stamp out fake goods, urging brands to help its anti-piracy campaign rather than trade rebukes on the issue.
